Despite having a wildly successful debut season as a judge on NBC's surprise breakout hit "The Voice," Christina Aguilera has found herself fighting criticism from the press over her weight and image. The singer – who has historically never had trouble maintaining her slim, "Dirrty" physique – has gained a noticeable amount of weight, which many are all too comfortable pointing out. However, Aguilera is taking the comments in stride.

"You've got to be a strong, powerful, very confident woman," Aguilera told People at a recent event. She admits to the difficulty women in the entertainment industry face, saying, "Women are definitely under a microscope and under massive scrutiny. As long as I am happy in my own skin, that is all the confirmation I need."

She also notes it doesn't hurt to have the approval of the love in her life, boyfriend Matt Rutler: "I have a boyfriend that loves my body," she says. "I love my body, my son is healthy and happy and that is all that matters."

Some celebs have no problem with poking fun at Aguilera's new weight issues. Kelly Osbourne and Aguilera have been long-time foes in the press (who knows why?), but that was years ago. Well, it was until Osbourne reignited the flames this year – calling Xtina a "fat b**ch" and making the claim: "I was never as fat as Christina Aguilera."

To play devil's advocate, Osbourne claims Aguilera called her fat for years before her recent weight-loss transformation. Still, it's rather surprising to see her mock someone for their weight issues when she knows how emotionally damaging it can be to a person.
